Key Responsibilities:
  • Making immediate contributions to enhancing our competitive position and performance in distinctive, innovative and sustainable ways.
  • Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and building out new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Collaborating with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organisation.
  • Implementing processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient with Azure cloud computing including big data technologies.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts.
  • Experience designing and building data platforms integrating disparate data sources.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing Big Data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.
  • Experience with Azure: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Stream Analytics, SQL DW, Analysis Services, Azure Functions.
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python/Scala, SQL, Spark-SQL.
