Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Observability Engineer to join our team. As an Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the platform components for our Observability product.

This role requires strong technical skills in areas such as data ingestion, monitoring technologies, and site reliability engineering. You will work closely with the performance team, data ingestion team, platform DevOps team, and data visualization teams under the Observability product.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Observability and Monitoring initiatives as a platform engineer, troubleshooting platform issues, restoring service by resolving customer-facing incidents, and developing and implementing build release pipelines.

You will also be responsible for agile development, troubleshooting and implementing corrections to problems associated with connectivity between supported applications and clients, providing technical guidance in the diagnosis of issues, driving collaboration sessions among IT and business groups, and contributing to the design, implementation, and enhancement of critical applications.

Additionally, you will perform proactive analysis and troubleshooting to predict and prevent production incidents, define and contribute to monitoring capabilities for critical applications, collaborate with key vendors on functional, performance, and capacity improvements, and design and build tools to automate support and monitoring functions.
