Seize Global Opportunities
The Procurement Manager role is a key leadership position responsible for driving procurement execution, improving resource efficiency, and implementing global procurement strategies and best practices. This role will work closely with the Plant Head and production team.
Your Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Manufacturing procurement Team, ensuring purchasing the right goods at the right time from the right vendors while adhering to local and country laws, policies, and best practices.
- Saves money by actively working to improve cost reduction activities.
- Reduces risks associated with delays in the supply chain and implements sustainable solutions for customers.
- Plan and execute training for team members to achieve departmental objectives and people development.
- Develops the team to build the organization and succession planning for critical roles.
- Leads and directs Purchasing employees, coaches, and develops the team, prioritizes activities, and reviews performance.
- Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement.
- Assigns procurement requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Oversees all activities related to procurement from intent to purchase through delivery.
