Senior Principal Consultant - Data Center Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions across our organization.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and innovation.

  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and VMware/Hyper-V environments.

The Senior Principal Consultant will be responsible for managing virtualized compute and storage environments using VMware vSphere Suite, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and vSAN.

The role also involves experience with network virtualization, micro-segmentation, and software-defined networking (SDN) using NSX.

Familiarity with VMware vRealize Suite is required, including vRealize Operations (vROps), vRealize Automation (vRA), and Log Insight for performance monitoring, automation, and log analytics.

The successful candidate will have skills in capacity planning & resource optimization, disaster recovery & high availability, patch management & lifecycle, automation & scripting, and strong understanding of network architecture.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field is mandatory. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also essential.

  • Strong communicator – English in spoken and written form
  • Excellent hands-on and knowledge on patch management, VMware, hand scripting
  • Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data centre infrastructure
  • Good exposure on capacity planning and overall hardware management skills Experience in ITSM
  • Excellent knowledge on observability standards
