System Administration Role

The ideal candidate will administer and maintain the Windchill PLM system to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.
  • Configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Responsibilities

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems.

Develop and maintain documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures. Implement best practices for data management and system security.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role is essential.

Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities is necessary. Experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration is also required.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and SQL is mandatory. Familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles is beneficial.

Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS is highly valued. Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting is desirable.
