Key Permitting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced permitting professional to lead our team in the US mainland telecommunications market. This is a key leadership role that will involve strategic planning, stakeholder management, and project execution.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in permitting and project management, with a proven track record of successfully obtaining permits for complex projects in the US telecommunications market. They will also have a strong understanding of telecom permitting requirements, including federal, state, and local regulations.

Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders. They will be proactive, solution-oriented, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive permitting strategy that aligns with our business goals.
  • Leverage your expertise to navigate complex federal, state, and local permitting requirements.
  • Lead the identification, preparation, submission, and acquisition of all necessary permits from local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Oversee the entire permitting lifecycle, ensuring all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in permitting and project management, with at least 3-5 years of experience directly in the US mainland telecommunications market.
  • Proven track record of successfully obtaining permits for complex projects in the US telecommunications market.
  • Extensive experience working with regulatory bodies such as FCC, state public utility commissions, and local municipalities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, GIS tools, permitting management systems).
  • Strong understanding of telecom permitting requirements, including federal, state, and local regulations.
