Quality Assurance Specialist

Develop and implement efficient in-process quality systems aligned with industry standards, including AS 9100, ISO 9001, and internal GE Quality Management System norms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive key Quality deliverables in projects through analysis and certification of aviation hardware according to internal quality inspection requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, production, and Quality system teams to develop and implement AS 9100 procedures, systems, and support driving end-to-end production quality flow downs.
  • Contribute to continual improvement through audit programs, assessment of various non-conformances, and driving corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis.

Inspect production hardware, participate in customer complaint analysis, stock verifications, and provide technical analysis and evaluation for assigned inspection processes both manually and automatically.

Maintain awareness of the latest inspection techniques, processes, and their beneficial and limiting aspects for optimum application. Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reduction initiatives.
