The Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Specialist plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the excellence of our software products. As a vital member of the development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, and smoke testing of web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to comprehend features and requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
- Participate in code reviews and enhance test coverage.
- Maintain test data and test environments.
- Contribute to improving test strategies and automation frameworks.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
- Hands-on experience in Playwright for web testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Git and CI tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance or security testing is advantageous.
