Job Description:

Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead our team of data experts in designing, developing, and optimizing complex data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and cloud computing, with experience in working with structured and unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable ingestion and transformation workflows across cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and support existing data pipeline infrastructure.
  • Implement job orchestration, monitoring, and error handling for reliable pipeline execution.
  • Perform impact analysis and root cause analysis for pipeline failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Around 6+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud computing data development.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and practices.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
