Finance System Implementation Specialist

This role requires support for finance-related system improvement initiatives, ensuring all aspects of finance work effectively.

The team responsible for understanding and translating business needs into technology improvements must provide advice and collaborate cross-functionally with project teams.

Experience as a business systems analyst or project accountant is beneficial for success in this role. The Finance Systems Solutions specialist will own end-to-end project components to ensure accurate subledger, reconciliation, accounting entries, and tax calculations.

This includes reporting all work as designed prior to deployment of new solutions. Key areas of accountability include:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting all finance-related system implementations to meet strategic growth objectives in a flexible environment.
  • Collaborating with project team members from Financial Accounting & Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and other corporate workstreams.
  • Delivering MVP approach followed by continued optimization project scope to ensure accurate process flow.
  • Assisting in writing, reviewing, and executing finance test cases in Azure DevOps.Direct.
  • Executing D365 quarterly upgrade testing for finance and performing regression testing of ERP and ISV systems with finance processes.
  • Reconciling and validating financial reporting for data integrity within the Sales and Finance Cubes.
  • Participating in agile work sessions and being an active participant in System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Reviewing development of training documentation and partnering with Finance BSA on project deliverables.
  • Assisting in standardization, centralization, and enhancement of process documentation and reviewing, enhancing, and maintaining business process documentation due to process change.
