We are seeking a Sports Editor to join our editorial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for editing and publishing high-quality sports content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, excellent writing and editing skills, and a deep understanding of American sports culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish 18-20 articles per day, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy.
  • Fact-check and research articles to ensure their credibility and value to readers.
  • Work closely with a team of writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate published content.
  • Mentor junior writers to help them grow and evolve as contributors to the team.
  • Stay on top of breaking news and events to ensure timely publication of relevant content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar field.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with ability to bring energy and creativity to articles.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, including crafting engaging headings and subheadings.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team of writers.
