Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the quality management system are met, and that all products and services meet the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, and experience in a similar role within the Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) industry.

  • Inspect and monitor raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
