Job Opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality digital solutions and have a keen interest in applying technology in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Write clean, reusable code following best practices while helping to define coding standards and team conventions.

Be an advocate for developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.

Encouraging a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Lead and influence the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.

Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.

Set up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Required Skills:

A minimum of 5+ years experience in software engineering.

High proficiency and understanding in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with experience in Node.js desirable.

Experience in a CI/CD environment using tools such as Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps etc.

Appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.

Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via various methods such as unit, integration, contract, and E2E testing.

Experience observing application performance and health using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.

Strong desire for performant applications.

Proactive in solving problems simply and effectively.

Excellent communication skills to explain solutions and collaborate effectively with others.
