Embroidery Designer Role:

We are seeking a talented Embroidery Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative embroidery designs, manipulating fabric textures, and experimenting with dyeing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design Development
  • Develop original embroidery techniques, textile patterns, and prints that showcase creativity and technical skill.
  • Experiment with color palettes and dyeing methods to create unique and eye-catching designs.
  • Collaborate with fashion designers and product developers to ensure designs meet the desired aesthetic.
  1. Material Selection
  • Source sustainable and innovative materials that align with our brand values.
  • Choose fabrics and materials based on design requirements and functionality.
  1. Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, to create digital designs.
  • Understanding of textile production processes, including weaving, knitting, printing, and dyeing.
  • Create detailed technical specifications for manufacturers.
  1. Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with the overall brand vision.
  • Communicate effectively with marketing teams to understand target audiences and market trends.
  1. Prototyping and Sampling
  • Develop prototypes and samples to test designs and gather feedback.
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and production feasibility.
  1. Quality Control
  • Ensure that final textiles meet quality standards and design specifications.
  • Address any issues during production.
  1. Sustainability and Innovation
  • Explore eco-friendly materials and sustainable production methods to reduce our environmental impact.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in textile design.

Requirements
