Risk Management Specialist

As a Governance & Risk Lead, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that impact our business. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address risks associated with our technology infrastructure and information security.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business function managers, and technology teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise on risk management and compliance to internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and provide recommendations on how to adapt our risk management strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as IT, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in risk management and internal controls governance.
- Strong communication and strategic influencing skills, with experience working with senior leaders and building internal networks.
- Formal training or certification in information security, or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or a related field.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements.
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decision-making and translate technology insights into business strategies for senior executives.
- Program-level management up to and including executive presentation and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience of technology infrastructure, understanding of infrastructure security.
- Stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines, and reliability/dependability.
