Our organization is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge audio visual solutions to clients, working closely with a dynamic team to achieve this goal.

  • Gather requirements from end-users and customers for AV related projects, ensuring all needs are met.
  • Design innovative solutions based on received briefs and gathered requirements, utilizing expertise in audio visual technologies.
  • Obtain business approval for AV solutions, navigating complex decision-making processes.
  • Provide final designs to the collaboration head or vendor management team for quote procurement, streamlining the process.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial proposals from vendors, making informed decisions that meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate downtime for room/site implementation once a purchase order is issued to the AV vendor, minimizing disruptions.
  • Verify drawings received from vendors, preferably with intermediate-level knowledge of AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy.
  • Coordinate with CIS/BU teams (Civil and MEP) for room readiness required for AV system deployment, facilitating smooth execution.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery according to the purchase order, maintaining effective communication.
  • Conduct end-to-end project coordination with vendors and internal teams, follow up, and close out all dependencies, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure project execution meets customer satisfaction, prioritizing quality and excellence.
  • Document projects extensively throughout their lifecycles, maintaining accurate records.
  • Quality-check physical installations, verifying compliance with standards.
  • Test and commission AV systems, guaranteeing optimal performance.
  • Take over from vendors with proper documents, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and equipment specification sheets to be uploaded to a central repository, streamlining handover processes.
  • Assist the asset management team in verifying delivery against the purchase order and providing asset tags to every piece of equipment, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Hand over projects to the operations team/customers with proper training on installed system usage, ensuring smooth transition.
  • Provide remote first-level support for maintenance calls, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Visit project sites if required to address issues or troubleshoot, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Perform periodic health checks on AV systems and provide inputs on improvements if necessary, driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in audio visual consulting, with a strong understanding of related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
