Job Title:

Enterprise Data Architect Specialist

Job Description:

As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data governance programs using popular tools like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc. to enable data cataloging, meta data management, and data lineage of our enterprise's applications and data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standard business glossaries and data dictionaries to enable enterprise level integration of metadata stores for business users to search and understand information.
  • Implement solutions for Data Cataloging with a Data Governance tool to establish clear data ownership along with access control management.
  • Build custom integrations between the Data Governance tool and various data stores to map and view data lineage.
  • Migrate existing data sources like SharePoint, Excel, etc. to a Data Governance tool.
  • Implement Workflow Management Systems to optimize, improve, and automate Data Governance workflows for data stewards to increase output, eliminate repetition, and reduce errors.
  • Track, investigate, and correct data quality issues in a Data Governance tool and set up data quality rules for data validation and standardization.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing tools like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc. to implement Data Governance programs.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders and leaders to identify and align on workable business solutions to data privacy requirements and challenges.
  • Knowledge of Data Governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, change management concepts and strategies.
