Legal Expertise Sought

We are looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead our team in high-impact legal matters. As an Associate Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with data protection laws, contributing to internal frameworks, and staying updated on evolving legal landscapes.

About the Role

  • Leverage your strong legal drafting and negotiation skills to review, draft, negotiate, and vet commercial agreements.
  • Support ensuring compliance with data protection laws, including DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
  • Contribute to internal compliance, IP protection, and risk management frameworks.
  • Liaise with external counsels, partners, and regulators when needed.
  • Stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and proactively inform stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal legal processes and templates.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel (TMT, Fintech, or General Corporate).
  • LL.B. required (LL.M. or certifications in data privacy/fintech are a plus).
  • Strong understanding of software licensing, technology transfers, and data privacy.
  • Clear, confident communication – able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters autonomously.
