Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee daily accounting activities for our company and its portfolio companies in both the US and APAC regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general ledger functions, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable management, and inventory control.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and APAC accounting standards.
  • Compliance: Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and streamline accounting processes across both regions to improve efficiency and accuracy, and recommend improvements to accounting processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CA/CPA certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and familiarity with APAC accounting standards
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders across different regions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
