Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance professional to ensure the highest level of quality in software development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for ETL processes to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct thorough testing of databases to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and issues.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • ETL Concepts: Strong understanding of ETL concepts, including data warehouse testing methodologies.
  • RDBMS: Proficient in MySQL and Oracle SQL.
  • SSIS: Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • UNIX Commands: Skilled in UNIX commands (grep, awk, find) for log analysis and job monitoring.
  • AWS Services: Experience with CloudWatch, EventBridge, QuickSight, Batch Jobs, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and Glue.

Testing Expertise:

  • Data Migration Testing: Strong background in data migration testing, including source-to-target validation, record count verification, data integrity and validation, transformation logic and job run verification.
  • System Integration and Functional Testing: Experienced in system integration and functional testing across sprints/iterations.

Additional Skills:

  • Requirement Analysis: Ability to analyze requirements and estimate work effort.
  • Quality Management: Skilled in quality management, including defect identification, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.

Nice to Have:

  • AI/ML Tools: Experience automating data testing using AI/ML tools.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
