Project Closeout Specialist:

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth transition of projects from initiation to final turnover.

  • Coordinate project closeout processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data, collaborating with project controls team members to verify integrity.
  • Manage the return of surplus materials through RMA processes, recording items appropriately in warehouse and accounting systems.
  • Foster regular communication with project-assigned teams to facilitate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping teams in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required and serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to quality teams.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to scoping teams as necessary.
  • Own final turnover packages, reviewing deliverables submitted by General Contractors (GCs), following up regularly, and suggesting corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents.
  • Act as sole approver for closeout processes in accounting systems, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to this role as needed.
  • Manage all tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
  • Occasionally follow up on punch list items.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of industry experience is required.
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications is essential.
  • Engineering certification in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard materials is preferred.
  • Construction management background is beneficial.
  • Experience in telecommunication, construction estimation, and/or supporting US Eastern Time Zone is advantageous.

Education:

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is required.
