Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to manage the procurement of civil and structural materials and services for our Gas-to-Power (G2P) project in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and develop a reliable vendor base for civil and structural materials and services, both locally and internationally.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with vendors.
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely approvals and releases.
  • Coordinate with logistics and site teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain procurement documentation in ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA/QC, Contracts, and Construction teams for seamless execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-6 years of procurement experience in EPC projects, preferably in the power or oil & gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of civil and structural materials, specifications, and sourcing strategies.
  • Exposure to procurement for infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco / SEC procurement standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
  • Willingness to travel or be stationed at project sites or vendor locations as needed.
