Job Opportunity:

A medical reviewer with 2-4 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance Medical Reviewing is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform post-marketing drug safety reviews to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct medical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from spontaneous, literature, and clinical studies to identify trends and patterns.
  • Support seriousness assessment, initial triage, causality, medical assessment, benefit-risk evaluation of medicinal products to provide informed decision-making.
  • Review cases to ensure competency and participate in audits and inspections as required to maintain quality standards.
  • Develop understanding of client needs, conventions, and expectations to deliver high-quality services.
  • Train and mentor team members on good case assessment and MedDRA coding to improve knowledge and skills.

Required Education: A MBBS or MD degree is mandatory.

Required Experience:

  • Client communications to build strong relationships.
  • Safety Database experience to manage and analyze data effectively.
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience working for service providers or pharmaceutical companies in Pharmacovigilance departments to possess relevant industry knowledge.
  • Additional experience and/or skills include effective written and verbal communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, analytical skills, flexibility, reliability, strong organization skills, punctuality, database experience.
