Lead Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled API Automation Test Lead to collaborate with our global team in creating innovative solutions for leading companies. This role involves defining and implementing test automation frameworks, mentoring a team of Quality engineers, and driving quality engineering metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
- Develop and design test scenarios with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Specflow, or similar
- Mentor a team of Quality engineers and lead by example
- Analyze and report quality engineering metrics to drive improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
Primary Skills:
- API Automation testing using Rest Assured or any automation tool
- Strong expertise in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Desirable Skills:
- Cross-browser testing/automation using Sauce Labs or Browser Stack
- Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems
- Strong coding skills in Java or JavaScript
