Job Title: Big Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the design and implementation of our big data infrastructure.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-performance big data applications using Python, PySpark, and Spark Dataframes.
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures to process huge volumes of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate big data solutions with existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in big data technologies, including hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Spark Dataframes.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensions, facts, schemas, and storage formats.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EMR, Athena, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, SNS, Aurora, RDS, Redshift, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
