Key Role in Finance Data Modernization

At our organization, we're seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to spearhead the modernization of our finance data platform.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape next-generation financial data architecture and drive accuracy, transparency, and scalability for our rapidly evolving business. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into robust financial systems that drive insights and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and leading Snowflake solutions for enterprise-grade data warehouse scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Owning dbt data modeling for financial data transformations, lineage, and governance.
  • Translating accounting and financial concepts into technical designs and data flows.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Accounting leaders to understand business drivers, risks, and reporting requirements.
  • Buidling and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt, integrating data from multiple enterprise and financial systems.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, auditability, and compliance with financial reporting requirements and internal controls.

We're looking for someone with 12-15 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform roles, strong emphasis on financial data systems, and expertise in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and data pipelines.
