Chief Procurement Officer

Our organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to oversee its purchasing operations.

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for educational institutions, encompassing institutional purchases and vendor development.
• Manage end-to-end purchase procedures, from purchase requisitions and purchase orders to good receipt notes, bills, and invoice management.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, teams, and agencies.
• Oversee annual maintenance contracts and annual procurement agreements.
• Lead project management initiatives, including new procurements, replacements, local, and central purchases.
• Ensure efficient procurement operations and support organizational goals.
• Analyze data and generate reports using databases and management information systems.
• Conduct need-based visits to assigned schools in the region.

• A degree in civil engineering or a related field, accompanied by an MBA.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in direct procurement, negotiation, and vendor development.
• 8-10 years of procurement experience and work in the field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the local language.
• Ability to travel within the region as required.
