Mechanical Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical surveyor to inspect pressure vessels and components from raw material stage to final stage, ensuring compliance with different codes and standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipes inspection as per different grades and will be familiar with various testing activities as per applicable piping code and product standard.

• Inspect pressure vessels and components from raw material stage to final stage
• Review documents such as QAP, WPS, PQR, WPQR, and NDT procedures
• Inspect welding and fabrication activities like joint fit-up, welding inspection, and NDT
• Perform dimensional inspections and spool inspections at fabricators' sites

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of ASME Sec-VIII and other relevant codes and standards. They will also be responsible for reviewing documents such as QAP, WPS, PQR, WPQR, and NDT procedures, as well as inspecting welding and fabrication activities like joint fit-up, welding inspection, and NDT.

Additional responsibilities include inspecting pipes and tubes, including ERW and SS pipes as per ASTM, IS, and API standards, and reviewing documents, witnessing strip and pipe U.T., conducting eddy-current testing, MPT, hydro-test, mechanical test, and other test requirements for black as well as galvanized pipes.
