Oracle Database AdministratorJob Description

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.

You will also be responsible for monitoring application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc., and establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures.

In addition, you will be responsible for taking care of database design and implementation, implementing and maintaining database security, and working as part of a team to provide 24/7 support when required.

Furthermore, you will perform general technical troubleshooting and provide consultation to development teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Experience with Oracle Database release 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux scripts.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra is a plus.
  • Wide knowledge of general database skills.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
