Data Engineer with Experience in Snowflake and SAP

About the Role:

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking a skilled Analytical Engineer to join our Information Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing quality solutions on time. This includes engaging with business teams, functional teams, and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities across all geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop business applications and architecture in line with agreed time frames, business requirements, and global standards.
  • Maintain production systems reliability through accurate utilization of IT standards and governance processes.
  • Review program codes and suggest corrections in case of any errors.
  • Support day-to-day business requirements according to global SLA.
  • Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to align with governance practices.

About You:

  • Engineering Graduate with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in programming languages like SQL, Python.
  • Experience in BigQuery/Snowflake/DOMO/Sigma.
  • Fair knowledge in different versions of SAP BW (3.x, 7.3 or higher, BW on HANA).
  • Exposure to Tableau will be an added advantage.
  • Fair knowledge on HANA studio development, BW Modeler.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically.
  • Ability to tackle and identify root cause.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Creation and modification to Snowflake, SQL, Python.
  • Creation of Snowflake models, structures.
  • Functional Experience (Desirable).
  • Understanding of business processes like COPA, R2R, C2I modules of Finance.
  • S4 knowledge will be an added advantage.
