MES Application Expert

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience with the planning, design, configuration, development, and testing of Opcenter applications.

This individual will work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of the application.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, designing, configuring, implementing, developing, and maintaining Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) applications.
  • Analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, and testing requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Installing and configuring Opcenter Core & Electronics high availability.
  • Supporting operations teams to test and accept new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  • Collaborating with DBA teams to migrate newly developed functionality to the production environment with minimal negative impact on the business.
  • Maintaining documentation for key applications.
  • FOLLOWING industry-leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core & Electronics.
  • Collaborating with global IT teams for Opcenter Core & Electronics MES projects and support activities.
  • Training junior or new team members and users as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Opcenter Core & Electronics (Camstar MES) applications.
  • Experience in leading and implementing 2 or more deployments of Siemens Opcenter implementations.
  • Proficiency in Modeling, Printing & Labeling Change, CIO setting, Portal Layout Changes, and Business Rules.
  • Experience and knowledge in Opcenter Core Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
