Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our operations, from sourcing raw materials to production and sales. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire operation, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Aggregation Centre and Project Management teams, fostering partnerships with suppliers and site-level production teams, and driving market demand for recycled plastics.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, collaborate with partners to enhance feedstock value, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for plastic waste segregation, quality assurance, and quality control.
  • Continuously improve SOPs using Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma design processes, identify key projects, and implement kaizens to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project progress, standardize machine inspection check sheets, and enforce data confidentiality and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Plastics Engineering, with an MBA as an added advantage.
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations, with excellent sales/customer relationship management skills, negotiation skills, and vendor/stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of plastics and plastic recycling, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent people management skills, personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi.
