Job Title: EDI Specialist

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and specify requirements for new EDI documents and changes to existing ones in compliance with ANSI X 12 EDI standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex EDI transactions and workflows, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data exchange.
  • Identify and delegate non-EDI issues to relevant teams, streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Implement and monitor EDI systems, encompassing data mapping, translation, and interface management.
  • Develop, maintain, and test EDI maps, related interfaces, and data communication scripts, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of business-critical processes, including ERP, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, CRM, Financial, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Service Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and document requirements for new EDI documents and modifications to existing ones.
  2. Investigate and resolve EDI transaction and workflow issues.
  3. Delegate non-EDI concerns to pertinent teams.
  4. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of EDI systems.
  5. Design and update EDI documentation.
