Job Title: Backend Architect

Description:

The role involves leading the backend team in designing, developing, and deploying microservices, architecting serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, and implementing asynchronous communication using AWS SQS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the backend team in designing, developing, and deploying microservices
  • Architecting serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • Implementing asynchronous communication using AWS SQS
  • Designing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code with AWS CloudFormation
  • Ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications
  • Mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
  • Collaborating with DevOps and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration

Requirements for success include:

  • 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience
  • Strong expertise in FastAPI or comparable web frameworks
  • Proven experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda
  • Deep familiarity with AWS SQS, API Gateway, and CloudFormation
  • Solid experience working with GitHub actions
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, ECS) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
