Backend Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:


This role will be based in our brand new office. You'll be working on developing innovative solutions using Typescript and JavaScript to create cutting-edge software.


Requirements:



  • Working knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript development
  • Basic understanding of NodeJS development and its ecosystem
  • Basic understanding of SQL (MySQL and/or Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo DB / DynamoDB) databases
  • Basic understanding of REST / SOAP API schematics
  • Basic understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, SVN)
  • Strong computer science and Engineering background

Desirable Skills:



  • Good understanding of using container technologies like Docker for application packaging and running them on Cloud
  • Good understanding in setting up CI/CD for application stack
  • Working exposure in test driven development and its methodology like Code coverage etc
  • Good understanding in using code quality tools to measure and improve on technical debt
