Job Title:
Financial Analyst - Retail Operations

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and taxation, with experience working in a retail organization. The role involves preparing monthly MIS, analyzing data to identify trends and variances, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly MIS and analyze data to identify trends and variances
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including preparation of GST tax returns and TDS deposits
  • Extract TDS ledger from balance sheet and cross-check TDS amount with expense report
  • Finalize quarterly TDS return filing and reconcile books v/s TDS return with consultant
  • Use data prepared by AR team to prepare data for Section 194 R TDS entries
  • Prepare TDS reconciliation books v/s return and balances coming in balance sheet
  • Get declaration from customer to check TCS applicability and prepare sheet accordingly

Requirements:

  • Qualified CA with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience
  • Experience in financial reporting, taxation, and controllership in a retail organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
