Job Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Professional to develop, manage, and monitor financial plans for hospital departments and business units.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in this field.

The successful candidate will create financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and assess various financial scenarios.

In addition, the Senior Financial Professional will track key performance indicators (KPIs), compare actual financial results against forecasts, and identify significant variances.

The successful candidate will collaborate with divisional leaders and department heads to provide financial guidance, ensure alignment with financial goals, and manage expenses.

  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans for hospital departments and business units.
  • Create advanced financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Track KPIs and compare actual financial results against forecasts.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide detailed explanations for deviations.
  • Collaborate with divisional leaders and department heads to provide financial guidance and manage expenses.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Masters degree / MBA in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Macros.
  • Knowledge of financial modelling, advanced Microsoft Excel, and financial software.

Financial Modelling Expertise

The ideal candidate should possess advanced expertise in financial modelling, including:

  • Creating complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Developing and managing financial plans for hospital departments and business units.
  • Tracking KPIs and comparing actual financial results against forecasts.

Budget Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts for hospital departments and business units.

This includes tracking KPIs, comparing actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, and identifying significant variances.

The candidate will also analyse financial performance and provide detailed explanations for deviations from the budget and forecasting.
