Job Title: Guidewire Claim Center Configure Developer

About the Role:
This is a full-time on-site position for a Guidewire Claim Center Configure Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring Guidewire Claim Center, creating and maintaining configuration artifacts, troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing unit tests, and participating in code reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuring Guidewire Claim Center: The developer will configure the system to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Maintaining Configuration Artifacts: The developer will create and maintain configuration artifacts to ensure smooth operation of the system.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: The developer will troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during system operation.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: The developer will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration of the system.
  • Performing Unit Tests: The developer will perform unit tests to ensure the quality of the system.
  • Participating in Code Reviews: The developer will participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Guidewire Claim Center Configuration and Development: A minimum of 2 years of experience with Guidewire Claim Center configuration and development.
  • Skills in Java, GOSU, and XML: Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and XML programming languages.
  • Understanding of Guidewire Data Model and PCF (Page Configuration Files): In-depth knowledge of Guidewire data model and PCF.
  • Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs: Familiarity with web services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and Database Management: Experience with SQL and database management.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively with Cross-Functional Teams: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written and Verbal: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Experience in the Insurance Domain: Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.
