Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Special Education Expert to work one-on-one with a child in their home environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized special education programs tailored to the child's needs and goals.
  • Focus on building functional communication, basic literacy, and language through engaging activities.
  • Support the child's independence in daily living activities (ADLs), such as dressing, eating, and routine care.
  • Conduct informal assessments to set measurable objectives and track progress.
  • Design and implement age-appropriate learning tools and methods that promote engagement and motivation.
  • Maintain clear session records and update the support team regularly.
  • Collaborate with parents and other therapists to provide comprehensive support.
Requirements:
  • Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (preference given to RCI-registered professionals).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of communication strategies and life skills training.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based setting with minimal supervision.
  • Respectful, non-judgmental, and family-centered approach.
