Network Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a network support specialist. This role requires strong technical expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot Network Issues: Diagnose and resolve various network-related problems reported by customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including product development and customer engineering, to identify areas of misalignment and provide corrective actions.
  • Investigate High-Priority Cases: Prioritize resolution, investigate high-priority cases, and share ideas to enhance product UX and UI.
  • Mentor Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on complex troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest networking trends, technologies, and features, participating in team communication and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

  • Networking Protocols: Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS, and other essential protocols.
  • Troubleshooting Utilities: Experience with troubleshooting tools like Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark, and packet capture tools.
  • Complex Customer Environments: Proven track record of resolving complex customer environments and balancing communications needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to triage and articulate matters clearly to customers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high aptitude for learning and teaching.
