Job Title: Head of Intellectual Property - Risk and Protection

  • Review NPD designs for potential IP legal risks, plan IP checks and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen technology and product development.
  • Develop search strategies for Freedom to Operate (FTO), State-of-the-Art (SOA) searches, invalidation, opposition, and litigation.

Purpose:

  • To drive a culture of intellectual property within the organization, identify areas of risk in NPD designs and initiate actions to minimize these risks.
  • Perform advanced patent and competitor portfolio analysis, leveraging tools like IT and data analytics for effective search and analysis of IP.
