About the Job

We are seeking an individual with excellent structural design skills to join our team. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for producing 3D models and 2D production drawings consistent with industry guidelines and standards.

  • Create 3D models of buildings and structures using software such as Revit.
  • Annotate and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to industry standards.
  • Manage BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in structural design drawings.
  • Interface with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modelling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together.
  • Ability to think in 3-D and draw sections and details with minimal input from engineers.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that offers a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be able to commute or relocate to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Prefrences

While not mandatory, it is preferable for candidates to have professional experience in AutoCAD and Revit. Additionally, South Indian candidates are preferred.
