Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter integration developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and adapting to evolving business needs by tackling Guidewire ClaimCenter development, ensuring solutions include thorough unit and functional testing with high code coverage, and overseeing the maintenance of the ClaimCenter ecosystem.

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT, including 6+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter integration development roles.
  • Deep expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models.
  • 4+ years of experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with J2EE, Apache Tomcat, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in XML, GUnit, Jenkins, Git/Subversion/TFS, and code quality tools like SonarQube and Netsparker.
  • Strong knowledge of application servers like Apache Tomcat or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Java and GOSU programming with solid object-oriented design and development fundamentals.
  • Extensive experience developing batch processes, message queues, and event messaging within Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Hands-on expertise in product migrations and conversions by building migration utilities leveraging ClaimCenter APIs.
  • Proven experience with DevSecOps practices, including establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Claims builds and deployments.

  • In-depth experience in the Property and Casualty insurance domain, preferably commercial insurance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage resource planning, portfolio planning, and budgeting effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Guidewire ClaimCenter Certification is highly desirable.
