Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Azure Data Factory Specialist to support our data integration and ETL needs. The ideal consultant will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure ADF pipelines, data orchestration, and transformations to ensure smooth, scalable, and secure data flows across multiple sources and destinations.

The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines for ETL and ELT processes. This includes integrating data from various sources, optimizing pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, and implementing data transformations and workflow orchestration.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet data requirements.

About the Role

  • Data Pipeline Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines for ETL and ELT processes.
  • Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources (on-premise, cloud, structured, and unstructured).
  • Pipeline Optimization: Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Data Transformations and Mapping: Implement data transformations, mapping, and workflow orchestration.
  • Trigger Configuration: Configure triggers, parameters, and dynamic pipelines in ADF.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to meet data requirements.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure security, compliance, and monitoring of pipelines using Azure best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Azure Data Factory Experience: Proven hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • ETL/ELT Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and pipeline design.
  • Azure Services Familiarity: Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, and Key Vault.
  • ADF Parameterization and Integration: Experience in parameterization, linked services, datasets, and integration runtimes.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization Skills: Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
