We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S4HANA Finance Functional Engineer to play a pivotal role in leading technology finance transformations and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP S4HANA Finance modules, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of functional processes and configuration.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document controlling configuration and documenting requirements.
  • Solution Design: Understand the landscape and solutions utilize in our regions to support product costing, cost planning, cost center analysis, material ledger, and actual costing.
  • Configuration and Implementation: Maintain and implement configuration changes to the S4HANA design to support requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test scenarios and conduct thorough testing to validate the accuracy and completeness of SAP S4HANA Finance configurations in compliance with Controlling requirements.
  • Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to technology teams, providing technical support to drive informed decision-making. Ensure cross-functional collaboration with other departments impacted by controlling requirements.
  • Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation to capture requirements and configuration completed for S4HANA and all surrounding systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of changes in the S/4 landscape and evaluate any impacts on SAP finance solutions. Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.


Key Qualifications:


  • SAP S4HANA certifications and a Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology
  • Extensive experience in SAP and surrounding systems support S/4 Controlling and Product Costing items with a particular emphasis on SAP S/4HANA implementation and optimization
  • Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Information Technology groups, contributing to cross-functional teams to drive successful SAP S4HANA and finance transformation projects.
  • Extensive experience working on Global Manufacturing large-scale projects, demonstrating the ability to navigate complexities and deliver results within specified timelines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance principles and best practices, coupled with a proficiency in utilizing finance tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to instill complex technical and financial information into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project and change management capabilities, adept at managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities and delivering excellence under pressure.
  • Independent and tactical approach to problem-solving, coupled with a collaborative mindset conducive to building professional relationships and working effectively in team environments.
  • Strong understanding of technology operations, including software development lifecycle, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of change.
  • Experience in risk management on a global scale, with a focus on identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated data analytics capabilities, showcasing the ability to derive insights, propose alternative solutions, and make recommendations to drive business outcomes.
