Role Overview:

As a key member of our ZS Client Accounting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of our client projects. Your primary focus will be on working closely with Client Accounting/Business Partnership teams to actively manage project financial health, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions, and providing critical support to project teams, colleagues, and clients. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and resolving issues related to project financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in actively managing project financial health, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Engage with project teams, colleagues, and clients to identify and resolve issues related to project financial health.
  • Provide reporting, trend analysis, compliance tracking, financial status, and forecasts to support project teams.
  • Manage revenue recognition, completion estimates, write-offs, and margins.
  • Ensure project financial transactions (billing, collection, time & expenses) are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with engagement startup (project setup) and shutdown activities.
  • Manage client POs, receipt of POs, communication with project teams, and assignment to projects.
  • Maintain electronic archive of all invoices and log of invoice details.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business required, advanced degree welcome, with a strong record of academic achievement.
  • 0-3 years of financial management experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP experience desirable.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills that enable strong relationship-building and stakeholder management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated and proactive.
  • Professional objectivity and judgment to know when to challenge activities.
