In our organization, we are seeking a talented Research Scientist to join our team. As a Research Scientist, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing synthetic routes to prepare small molecules for drug discovery programs.
About the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with expertise in organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and compound isolation. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of synthesizing complex molecules and troubleshooting problems in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute synthetic routes to prepare small molecules for drug discovery programs.
- Track SAR and optimize potency, selectivity, and properties of small molecules for research programs.
- Perform purification and structural characterization of compounds.
- Troubleshoot synthetic problems and optimize reaction conditions.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 0-4 years of hands-on experience in working on bench, preferably in an industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
