Job Summary:

Skilled Senior ETL Informatica Developer with extensive experience in the banking industry. The candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development using Informatica along with a solid background in PLSQL and Oracle databases who will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions to support our business operations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration across multiple banking systems.
  • PLSQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex PLSQL scripts and stored procedures for data processing, transformation, and reporting.
  • Oracle Database Management: Manage, monitor, and tune Oracle databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security of data.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for better performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts and business units, to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data integration issues, troubleshoot system errors, and provide ongoing support for production environments.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter with a focus on the banking/financial services industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter, including mapping design, workflow management, and performance tuning.
    • Strong experience with Oracle databases, including data modeling, SQL, and PLSQL development.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data lakes.
  • Classification:
    • Internal
  • Experience in performance tuning of ETL processes and SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other ETL tools (e.g., Talend DataStage) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
