IT Governance and Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced IT Governance and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards, implementing IT policies, standards, and procedures, and leading the organization-wide compliance program.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the organization-wide compliance program ensuring IT activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies, and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement a strong IT Governance program that ensures the integrity of IT systems and data.
  3. Maintain advanced knowledge of commonly used governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  4. Prepare schedules for periodic reporting and develop metrics and reporting activities to ensure effective measurement and monitoring of compliance.
  5. Collaborate with the ERM team to ensure risk readiness for the entire IT landscape and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  6. Advise process owners on governance and compliance matters, providing expertise and influencing decisions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  7. Responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating IT Audit policies and procedures and standards documents to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field from an accredited university.
  • At least one security certification, such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
