Cloud Cost Manager Job Description

To succeed as a Cloud Cost Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert in Oracle Cloud Cost Management to guarantee the integrity of costing operations.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to implement and support cost-effective solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Configure and maintain costing setups, including cost books, cost elements, and cost methods.
  • Analyze cost data to ensure accuracy in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate cost roll-ups and reconciliations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve costing-related issues in Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls.
  • Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and finance teams to synchronize costing processes.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve costing processes and system performance through best practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Cost Management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot costing issues and optimize system performance.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
